アマチュア無線家JH0ILLのつぶやき

ある日、突然、アマチュア無線を再び、やってみようと思い付き、十数年ぶりに再開した無線局のつぶやき。

QSO with YD3KNJ

On the night of October 30, 2018, I called CQ at 7.016 MHz and directed the antenna toward North America. I called with CQ several times, then I heard a weak of CW signal at the noise level. I thought that it was a signal from the opposite direction of the antenna and therefore rotated the antenna 180 degrees. Then, the signal with QSB was come up from the noise.
YB3KNJ? I can not clearly confirm his callsign through the noise. But the signal swinged upto 579 at the peak, therefore I returned 579 report. After hitting "BK", it becamed difficult to listen to further signal.
Actually I was uneasy that it might not be a perfect QSO until the end.
Today, the QSO was uploaded to Youtube as follows:

QRP CW WITH JAPAN JH0ILL
His callsign is YD3KNJ. I seem that the QRP station in Indonesia replied my CQ call at 7 MHz. And, it came to me through the image he was very glad, however, I even his callsign has not been completely copied.
I felt the high power station was a very difficult position. A station could receive the signal strongly, although I could not hear his signal.
In such a case, how would the station  think about me?
I will make completely QSO with him next time!
